Just read that Reardon is going to the states next year to ride for Sobe Honda. Should be interesting to see how he goes.

Corona, CA – (June7 1, 2007) – Team SoBe/No Fear/Samsung/Honda announces that 2007 Australian Supercross Pro Open Championship winner and current Nokia Pro Open Motocross Championship points leader Daniel Reardon has signed-on to join the Corona, California-based race team for the 2008 AMA Supercross Lites Championship Series and AMA National Motocross Lites Championships Series.

“Due to his recent battles with Chad Reed in the Australian Nokia Pro Open Motocross Championship, Daniel Reardon has received a lot of attention from many of the factory race teams that compete on the AMA Pro Racing circuit,” says Rick Zielfelder, co-owner of the SoBe/No Fear/Samsung/Honda race team. “But the truth of the matter is that our team has been interested in working with Daniel for quite a while now. In fact for the past several months, the SoBe/No Fear/Samsung/Honda team has been scouting and researching Daniel’s character, work ethic and abilities. Results are easy to research and monitor in this day and age, and yes, Daniel has had great results. However, it is Daniel’s overall racing program as well as the support system he has assembled that we, the team, found most impressive. Dan is a talented and focused athlete, and one who is determined to realize his dream of being a successful racer in the United States.”

With the 2007 Australian Supercross Pro Open Championship now clinched and typed into the record books, Daniel Reardon, age 20, will now set his sites on winning the 2007 Nokia Pro Open Motocross Championship -- a Championship in which he was the runner-up in 2006.

Five races into the Nokia Pro Open Championship, Reardon, who currently competes for the prolific Kawasaki Racing Team, leads the points chase. The series, which wraps up with the Nokia Coolum round in Queensland on August 12, will mark Reardon’s send-off to America.

While plans are tentative at the moment, both Daniel Reardon and the Sobe/No Fear/Samsung/Honda race team are quietly hoping he can make his American debut at the last round of the 2007 AMA National Motocross Lites Championship at the Glen Helen National on September 8-9.

Why dont you give the sobe honda team a call and offer them your services seeing as you know so much more than them. You never know, they might not have actually thought about it as much as you. noob
